- Findeton 5y agoI like Snider but I think he's wrong in regards to monetary inflation. QE has lowered down the interest rates for so long that it has moved investors away from long term real investments like oil or natural gas towards short-term investments like tech. And that's what's created inflation in the end: not enough investment in oil/natural gas/resources.
- cinquemb 5y agoInterest rates have been trending downward before any of this "QE" (more accurately is just swapping non yielding reserves [not cash] for securities that yield non-zero amount) nonsense.
