> The goal has been to communicate some basic concepts to layman, intellectuals, and policy-makers alike, challenging many of the fundamental ideas that we assume as "truth" or "common-knowledge", and discussing the many complex implications of such assumptions. Ultimately, my vision is to inspire cultural change that is grounded in a firm understanding of some basic principles (outline below).
What seems grandiose isn't so much the writing project as your apparent belief that you understand the world better than anyone else and can solve all its problems! That is most likely a delusion. :-) Anyway, I'd be into proof-reading/editing/giving feedback on the stuff you write. The topics you mentioned remind me of people I've learned from on those subjects - Dewey, Hilary Putnam, Erich Fromm etc. My email is on my page. (I felt like flagging most of the comments on this page. "Not the kind of thing I'm into at all but here's a kick in the face". Sigh.) Good luck!
- samh748 5y agoHaha I didn't mean it to sound so grandiose, it's hard to explain with so little context. That's why it's been way harder than expected to try to write up a proposal or summary to get my point across to people, without actually just writing the entire thing! When it's generalized it sounds like some super fluffy stuff haha. I actually really appreciate the critical feedback. It gives me data on how people perceive my posts/efforts/work. Lack of data really drives me crazy. So this is good :) I'm so so glad you're up for proofreading and giving feedback!! This is crazy! Thank you so much! I'll keep your contact on hand and will let you know of any updates!! :)))
