I always found status reports to be very annoying to write. I mostly just rephrased my commit messages and major emails.
The good(bad!?) news is that I've stopped sending them in long ago, and nobody has ever complained.
- keithpeter 15y agoWell done. I'm not a programmer, but some time ago, I simply stopped sending routine 'status' information until someone complained. Then I sent it. This simple step has saved me a couple of hours a week.
