I wish this was true. European leaders have been speaking a great deal about how much they are going to invest into trains and how they are the future of green transport, but then in reality they are unwilling to do the things that are needed to improve trains or even actively sabotage them. Austria is pretty much the only country in the EU that is actually making genuine strides in this area.
