I agree that this was a fair, measured post, but I find it bizarre that a Linux enthusiast would ever want to replace their Mac OS with Windows when the biggest complaint is... window management? I feel like they left something out here.
- Tagbert 4y agoI do understand that recent Windows has some pretty good basic window size+position control. That is not something that really comes default in Mac OS but there are several widely used third-party tools that do that using different interaction models (Moom, Better Snap Tool, Magnet). I suspect that building that into the OS would hurt the third-party market at this point.
