  That's overstretching a definition of robots. Mines are simple mechanisms. Robots should at least move a little.

    They do have those mines that popup out of the ground and then explode, is that enough movement?

      No, by that definition, anything that moves is a robot. A rock rolling from a hill would be a robot. This makes "robot" word useless.
