- KronisLV 5y agoIt was run in a container, though: - it was using Docker Swarm, which fell out of favour (Kubernetes won after all) Docker Swarm is the built in Docker orchestrator, so it was running as a Docker container. It still doesn't protect you from anything around it breaking, such as the actual servers that the orchestrator runs on. Something like Ansible could have been useful (or even VMs with snapshots) for more easily reproducing the setup in case of failure, but it's perfectly fine not to want to do that if it wasn't financially viable.
