The whole country is second order twitter users due to the popular media relying on it extensively as the source of significant amounts of their "reporting".
- 0xy 5y agoMost of the country does not watch popular media. CNN's top news shows average 500,000 viewers (less than 0.01% of the country), and additionally the country overwhelmingly do not trust popular media, and therefore would not believe them anyway.
- nullc 5y agoFair enough-- but would you also deny that we're all impacted by it? Many of us don't watch it (I don't). Many that do don't really believe it... but we all know people who believe it and/or people who waste their time being mad about people who believe it. :P
