Prepper Is Building a Post-Apocalyptic Internet
- bifrost 5y agoThis guy must be really bored. The internet itself is made up of a ton of different pieces, almost all of which don't require anything particularly special aside from knowing how the internet actually works. In fact the internet is many many networks that intercommunicate with eachother, and in general they're all replaceable aside from the physical infrastructure. The only things that are tough to replicate and are mostly irreplaceable-> DNS Registrars and IP Address management.
- ge96 5y agoI like to think about this too (too much time in Fallout) but while it would be cool to get something to work, sucks to think it would be subpar to the current speeds/bandwidth. I guess at that point life isn't about leisure.
