Why would I want to use something like this?
- substack 15y agoIt's handy if you want to map ports or host:port combos to subdomains so they all can share the same port on the same server.
- icebraining 15y agoWouldn't it make more sense to use a reverse proxy like nginx?
- jpeterson 15y agoYes. Better still would be a proper health-monitoring load balancer like HAProxy.
