Electric heaters are 100% efficient in transforming joules to heat. The powerplant/transmission lines are the issue in this case.
- IAmEveryone 5y agoYes, but when the electricity is generated by burning fossil fuels, that process is only 40% or so efficient, whereas using the heat directly is lossless.
