I’m not saying it was in good taste but he’s not intending it to be at the expense of the homeless, it’s at the expense of the “just give everyone $1000” people (who are much more fortunate than the homeless but still less fortunate than Elon). Edit: to be explicit, the joke as I read it is that losing twitter HQ would be bad for twitter employees and also be a (borderline comically) ineffective solution to the homelessness problem.
