  He was not a bully. He was short tempered, self-assured and way too aggressive, but not a bully.

    The culture on com.lang.lisp was pretty toxic at times. I remember having Erik telling me to have a late abortion (I was 13) in a discussion about '() being false. The people that looked up to him were worse.
