Not true. The most basic repair (replacing a dead battery) has gone from trivial to difficult.
- yakak 5y agoThat's been true for a few years now thanks to convincing people they need waterproof phones.. From the articles it sounds like they are now at least selling the seals, etc. More alarming to me is the software support. Google has cancelled the Android One program so apparently 3 years of security is too long. What is the point in repairing an insecure phone?
- BenjiWiebe 5y agoThere are waterproof phones with easily replaceable batteries. My Samsung Galaxy S5 is waterproof and I can replace the battery without tools in seconds. I would like a more modern phone with the same features.
