- lcnmrn 5y agoAs a social network owner of Subreply.com, I get to compete with Elon. I validate accounts before they start posting. Create account, improve profile, get approval, start posting. No need to ask user for payment. No spam detection is necessary. No checkmarks either since everyone is validated.
- NoPie 5y agoEdit button, at least for a limited time, is a good idea. I write with too many embarrassing typos that need to be corrected. But I don't like the idea that you would need to pay for it or some other non-crucial feature. Unfortunately that is the direction where social networks are going. They have so much power that they are going to squeeze the users to increase their profits and get even more power.
