That sounds very wrong to me… I’d much prefer “who at the University of Maryland studies the processing of language in dogs and humans”.
- henriquemaia 5y agoPersonal preference, I believe. But the point still stands: the original sentence is more ambiguous that both our rewritings. Ours just show that the original sentence could be improved.
