This is graduate students unionizing. Everywhere I’ve seen this, the principal complaints are wages, housing, acknowledging they are workers, and working hours. Grad students are used as slaves. This is trivial to avoid just by paying them what they actually need to live. This is a university, what they can’t figure this out? No, they just overplayed their hand at the bargaining table.
