What's the best place to find an entry level job as a developer?
A friend of mine just graduated from a 6 month bootcamp learning Java and JavaScript. I plan on asking my friends if anyone they know is hiring but getting that first job is always tricky.
Any job sites that are especially good for first time jobs or other tips?
I've had him set up a linkedin account but harder to get recruiters before the first job
- yuppie_scum 5y agoIndeed.com, LinkedIn or your school’s career department.
- gardenfelder 5y agoThink about creating a github repo and put up some of his work. Advertise that.
- gardenfelder 5y agoTake that further: volunteer to hack on existing projects as well. For instance, I have a few Java projects that would be fine for some entry-level hacking.
