Like fusion and self driving cars. It is going to take a lot longer if it ever works safely.
- inglor_cz 5y agoNeither fusion nor self-driving cars are a vital technology, they are more like "nice to have". You can produce electricity by many other means and people are used to driving. But preventing aging isn't yet possible, so there is more sense of urgency around developing anything that helps.
