US taxpayers unknowingly paid millions to get Starlink terminals to Ukraine

- jleyank 5y agoThey also paid millions for military hardware and humanitarian aid. It’s how a (huge) country runs its geopolitics.
- LinuxBender 5y agoGood. Please use more tax money to send them some WiFi repeaters to link up with the Starlink terminals so people can be in bunkers nowhere near the Starlink terminals. I imagine that people here could think of hundreds of other projects we could suspend or terminate to make up for the cost. I'd wager there are probably also some companies that would love to get rid of old stockpiles of weatherized POE cat 5e/cat 6 300-600 foot cables to avoid WiFi location detection.
