I write blog posts to pay back, even a little bit, all the developers out there that bothered to respond to stack overflow questions or posted a blog post with a fix to a tricky issue they thought someone else might run into. There are countless times over the last 20 years where I was stumped on a problem and a quick google search took me to someone's answer to just the thing I was trying to fix. If I can be the one providing that answer to just a few people in the future, it's worth it for me to put a few blog posts together and stick them on S3 behind a domain name.
