Once between jobs I considered putting my physics undergrad to use tutoring. I remember the Ontario math curriculum was something like a 120 page pdf, comprehensive but nothing alien to anyone with mathematical training. As a software dev I’ve read more than 100-200 pages worth of material to grok things; surely we can expect math teachers to spend the 5-10 hours it takes to ingest the curriculum/identify weaknesses to improve on.
