'Theory of mind' in autism: A research field reborn
- PaulHoule 5y agoThe problem isn't that autists lack a theory of mind or empathy for neurotypicals, rather neurotypicals lack a theory of mind and empathy for autists. That is, a neurotypical sees an autist with a sensory sensitivity and the neurotypical feels uncomfortable, thinks the autist is "strange", or thinks the autist is a bad person.
