- adamsmith143 4y agoAre you people out there really setting up a daily calendar to deal with childcare? 4:30 - 5:00 Change Diaper 5:00 - 6:00 Bounce on knee 7:00 - 8:00 Contemplate on the poor life decisions that lead to this scenario
- kleinsch 4y agoMan the 22 year olds in this thread are hilarious. Yes. With a one year old, esp during COVID, childcare time is time you can’t leave the house, can’t relax, can’t do anything productive. So yes, you make a schedule - you pick them up from daycare, watch them for an hour while I study, then I’ll come make dinner and do bedtime.
- lostmsu 4y agoWe usually get a couple of hours after that.
- 0des 4y ago- Age is a protected class. - 22yr olds are sexually capable and may reproduce if they choose. - Some of those might also have internet access.
- lovich 4y agoOnly over 40 is a protected class in the US
- dragonwriter 4y ago> Age is a protected class. From internet comments? No, its not. For employment? Also, no, in the US, except age over 40.
- 0des 4y agoIf that's all you've got then I feel we both acknowledge my observations of the parent comment.
- adamsmith143 4y agoThis is blatantly ageist and misses the point completely. The point I was making is that it is absurd to need to ask your partner to schedule you 30 minutes of "me time." If I asked that of my partner I'm confident she would think I lost my mind. Why would one need permission for 30 minutes of time at all. Truly bizarre.
