I love how assholes always reframe their bigotry as something innocuous or even beneficial. She wasn't investigated because she believes biological sex is real -- no one has ever doubted that -- she was investigated because she rallied behind removing trans rights under the false belief that gender and sex are exclusively dimorphic. She's a nurse, meaning she works in a medical field, meaning she should be forming her beliefs about biology based on evidence. The evidence shows that (a) gender and sex are different things, and (b) neither is exclusively binary. To fight against people who recognize that, and claim that's "hurting women and children", is transphobic. It's not much different than claiming dark skin is a myth that's hurting white people, except it's about gender instead of race.
