The people who made the ads used whatever tools they usually use - so what? I don't expect all the camera operators on a McCain ad are Republicans, nor that Pepsi is banned from the canteen at Coca-Cola's ad agency.
- chriskelley 18y agoI almost agree with you 100%. I've worked with an agency up in SF on a few projects for Adidas, and when the clients are coming in the word goes out banning Nike shoes for the day. So it does get that ridiculous sometimes, but the pc/mac war always drives me crazy.
- alyx 18y agoI've worked at Microsoft before and I can tell you that a lot of people have Apple products. From iPhones to Macbooks and the like. That's the beauty of freedom.
- ComputerGuru 18y agoI know people on the IE development team that use Macbooks (running OS X) as their primary machines - it doesn't mean a thing.
- davidw 18y agoAn ex coworker of mine worked at an ad agency that handled some MS stuff, and they had to use MS tools for a lot of things.
