There's no way around learning C if you really want to take this on. You said you're willing to dump lots of time in it, so do that first, and then you'll be in a much better position.
- sargstuff 5y agoOriginal C wasdesigned to map as close to one to one pairing between assembler and c statements. Will also need to understand the hardware assumptions implied in C code being ported.
