The Compression Puzzle. The pointless quest for beauty in code
- PaulHoule 5y agoI wanted to like this video but it's got numerous things wrong with it. First of all it is slow paced, you could edit more than half of it away. When you are competing against reading blog articles you just can't blather for several minutes about how coding is like dancing. Also I could not read the code examples on the screen because there were too many of them on the screen at once resulting in the fonts being too small. It's a very bad smell for a piece of content to describe itself as "pointless" -- why did you do it? They tell us why and the title should lead with that.
