I'm surprised nobody has stated the obvious. See the recent post on Dall-E 2. It's likely to change the face of creative design and was done using modern supercomputers (e.g. cloud-based deep learning). To make a direct analogy, I imagine some of the newest game AI-graphics and engines require training on such supercomputers.
