Hi everyone, I'm working on a project that will take me about 6 months to finish, so I thought about using a raspberry pi to take some pictures and eventually crate a time lapse. I can also use the pi as a security camera, right? Anyways, I'm open to suggestions.
- ge96 5y agoYeah it's pretty straightforward if you know how to use a terminal/CRON/python. CRON schedules how often you want to take the photos through python script (as low as every minute) and then you name it by date-time to assemble it later. Photo command is raspistill. Just plan on your power source if it's not going to be plugged in. You can go faster than a minute but requires more work.
