Comprehend Systems (YC W11) - Come help us create next-gen databases

We make database software that connects multiple, disparate datasources. For example, an enterprise could have data in an Oracle database in one schema and a SQLServer database in another schema. Our technology sits on top and provides an easy way to query both datasources using a single query. Our first product uses this technology to provide reporting and visualization tools that speed up clinical trials. Not only will you help get drugs into the hands of the patients who need them, but we need to solve a lot of hard problems on the way. About you: - You love computers and programming. You started programming as a hobby, and you still have that enthusiasm today. - You will be joining a small team, we currently have 4 developers. You will be a big part of this team, and you'll help us shape this product. - You will be engaging with customers and potential customers at trade shows and through customer support. - You're very familiar with OOP and architecting new features. You're well versed in design patterns. - You're comfortable learning new technologies, and have solid experience with either Java, C++, C, or C#.
