A Botanical Mystery Solved, After 146 Years
- irrational 5y agoI read the article, but I don't understand that there was a 146 year old mystery. A grad student saw some berries he didn't recognize in a painting, looked through some botanical archives and found berries that matched the painting, then named the berries after the painter. That doesn't seem like much of a mystery.

The current title suggest people have been wondering about these blue berries for that time - but the article sounds like only one person was curious and that was very recently.
