I'm still using my SE that I got in 2016, and I hope it never breaks because it is the ideal size for my needs. It fits in either my shirt or jeans front pocket, and since I don't carry a purse, I don't know where I would put a bigger one. It does everything I need. Why would I want to watch movies on a cell phone, even if it's the size of an iPad?
- jfengel 5y agoI've been surprised at how convenient it is, even on my not-especially-gigantic phone (Google phone 5A). I used to watch TV in bed, via my Kindle. When it broke, I switched to my phone, and it was actually a decent experience. The phone is small but it has a lot of pixels, so at the right distance it's actually a decent picture. And the sound is actually better than from my TV's not-top-of-the-line speakers. Yeah, I know watching TV in bed is bad. But I sometimes download movies and watch them on the train, airplanes, etc. That's a healthier use-case. I'm not getting rid of my TV, but when it's just me watching, it's a pretty positive experience to watch on my phone.
