Did you know the UN also warned in 2005 that man-made global warming would so decimate coastal areas as well as the Caribbean and Pacific islands that there would be upwards of 50 million “climate refugees by 2010.”

- namdnay 5y agohow many are there today? if you read the article you'll see that back in 2005 they were already counting around 10M climate refugees per year
- jeffbee 5y agoUNHCR says there were 42.4 million people displaced due to climate-linked disasters in 2010, so this prediction was not far off. What you should be asking yourself is why you had this contrarian tidbit at your fingertips, but you're not aware of the primary facts.
