Unfortunately, I can't see this as anything other than a solution in search of a problem. Everything you'd want to do in a terminal that is worth sharing would be version controlled, which is vastly superior in everyway. You've all done some cool work here, and I can complement that, but I think this is a really weird idea with no real world evidence to justify its existence.
