This is just a 2022 version of a billionaire buying a newspaper. Not shocking.
- Xenixo 5y agoTo do what? A newspaper I get. Forming opinions is easy with a newspaper. But with twitter? Manipulating Twitter trends? Who cares?
- MrMan 5y agoYou realize twitter is most likely far more powerful at shaping opinion than any single newspaper? Fox News Facebook and Twitter are probably among the top 5 such mind control outlets. I am not on Twitter but I am motivated to research the reach Twitter has vs the TV networks, the major news papers and the bigger social networks which of course dwarf what we used to call MainStream Media.
