  You'll probably want to take that up with OFAC and your financial institution, in that order, because your financial institution will not admit you are on the OFAC list. Check here. https://sanctionssearch.ofac.treas.gov/ https://sanctionssearch.ofac.treas.gov/ If you are on there. You're out of luck unless you can convince the Federal Government to change it's stance, but that is the authoritative source for financial institutions for what accounts/assets need to be frozen. Also keep in mind: Stop any direct deposits immediately. Sanctions will not stop money flowing into your accounts. Your finances are basically roach motels. It may not be instant, but you will start to see more and more get locked up tighter than Fort Knox. If you can get it out, do it now. Good luck.

  Make that clear in your tweets and comments. You come across as deceiving and undeserving because you have withheld that relevant information. If you have US citizenship or are working towards that, then perhaps also make that clear. Unfortunately, there are a lot of deeply unfair consequences that are occurring to a lot of people. I wish you the best of luck.

      There is a lot of scepticism about woe-is-me stories on HN, because they often are misleading. If you want to be taken seriously you need to be very very careful to avoid triggering peoples bad-smell detectors. You appear to be using an alt account now, which is just another signal of deceit. I can completely believe you are a victim of the current pogrom against all Russian citizens, but unfortunately there is probably not much you can do about it unless you can change citizenship, which is obviously not simple.

Anyone else wish to comment on that, for or against the points I have made? It doesn’t look like you have a language barrier to me. You appear to be in denial, or perhaps you are just spinning your wheels due to stress and lack of sleep. That is not good. Most founders get external shocks outside their control. Find a workaround or maybe use your personal contacts to try to resolve the issue. I would guess that making the problem public is unlikely to help your cause. I also suspect you are wasting your time on HN - there are likely more productive ways to invest your time. I do hope you find a solution, and I really do feel for all the innocent people caught in the political crossfire. Best of luck to you.
