it has made the experience much much better.
- TameAntelope 5y agoI've got YouTube TV and I haven't seen a single non-broadcast ad in my time using it with my newest Chromecast.
- ensignavenger 5y agoYou don't get ads for various shows on various different streaming services on you Home screen in Google TV?
- TameAntelope 5y agoNo, just a list of available shows and movies from the various platforms I'm signed in to. Not sure what else they'd show there. My Plex does the same thing; a list of things I can watch.
- mpalczewski 5y agoThose are also known as ads. I frequently see repeatedly shows I have no interest in(actually negative interest, in that I would be better of not knowing about them). I see stuff that I don't like, I see stuff that pushes or attempts to push buttons, it's a constant annoyance. Apple tv doesn't do this, alternative launches don't do this. They are ads, they don't have the next thing you are mostly likely to watch but rather whatever show they are trying to push at the moment without any ability to change this. I would be really surprised if this isn't directly monetized(though it is indirectly monetized).
