A question not without merit. I use four browsers regularly. Brave is exceptionally good at bypassing {...walls} at the New York Times, the Economist and so on. But then there is Safari with a rather painless and fast VPN, for free. And of course Chrome for work. And Firefox for whatever. So "switch" seems like a heavy-handed and perfunctory approach that limits choice, when really one simply needs the right tool for the job.
