A few years ago I was getting a undergraduate degree in physics and I was dating a girl who had a theory of gravity. I don't totally remember the theory now and I never fully understood it at the time, even though she tried to explain it to me. The few times we talked about it, I tried to argue against her theory rather than just listening. This article reminded me of that experience—especially the description of vague images. I think I could have used some advice from this guy, or at least some empathy.
