Easy, wipe the system and install Linux on it.
- wanderer_ 4y agoAnother little push in the right direction: you'll have to go into developer mode to expose the shell and flip the write-protect bit.
- jiffygist 4y agoCould it possibly be impossible to enter developer mode? If so, could it be possible to somehow flip the write protect bit "by hand"?
- sp332 4y agoSome Chromebooks do have a physical switch, like in the battery compartment. I don't know of any Chromebooks where it's actually impossible to enter developer mode.

- wanderer_ 4y agoOops, I had forgotten about that. I was doing a bit of ...research a while back to apply to my own school machine.
- throwawybllion 4y agoProbably need to log into the school account on chromeos So run another chromeos in a VM and just shut it down to switch to personal
