I would love to have access to this in general (but maybe not for a physicist specifically) - sometimes I just am having trouble understanding a paper and want someone to walk me through it. Hire a biologist / computer scientist / etc

- _carbyau_ 5y agoAgreed. Personally, I'm interested in circuit board electronics. If people can get a personal trainer for fitness, why not for hobbies/topics of interest?

- physicles 5y agoCheck upwork or fiver. There are people offering a wide variety of expertise in a format similar to that outlined in the article. I know someone who hired someone to talk about designing building ventilation systems for two hours — it was relevant to his work, so he basically found a way to hire a consultant for a fraction of the normal price.
