I'm in the same boat as you, and have just begun my 2nd sabbatical. You'll be fine. I took a similar 3 month sabbatical about 5 years ago and it was one of the greatest things I've ever done in my life. Really helped me get my priorities straight. After it was over I ended up landing my dream job, which I wouldn't have thought to go for if I hadn't taken time off, including a 40% pay increase within a month of job hunting. Go for it!
