It’s a compelling outlook because, well, empirically it can definitely appear this way, and it’s naturally aligned with the other dominant societal ideas we have about individuality. In many large organizations, much of the success comes from the foresight, insight, and hard "work" comes from a few benefitting many. The reality is, it is individuals and not some collective group or "teams".
