Methinks it might be cheapest to have an open source main board to replace the internals of a platform-subsidized 4k model rather than build from scratch.
- rglullis 5y agoFor the DIY crowd, maybe. But there are so many SBCs and set-top boxes out there, my idea would be to have a panel with a very basic firmware and a slot where you could Bring-Your-Own-Kodi-and-tvheadend.
