What happens if Russia turns off gas to Germany?
- throwntoday 5y agoThe German people get a cold reminder of how stupid it was to give up energy independence and buy into the fears of nuclear energy.
- simonblack 5y agoThat's such a weird article. It tells nothing about what will happen. An analogy would be "What happens when bombers attack our city?" and then the article saying what sort of air-raid alarms there are, but nothing at all about the effect of bombs exploding, or the need to reach shelter, or fires needing to be extinguished or medical services needing to be available. "You will probably hear a sound." SMH
- ggm 5y agoIt's spring. People won't die of hypothermia. There will be economic adjustment. Some substitute LNG sources will come on-stream before next winter. The big problem is fertiliser feedstock.
