Having been an engineer and worked around engineers for a long time, I've seen a lot of people get very frustrated in the face of fuzziness in organizations, teams, politics. It's just a fact of nature that there isn't one optimal system that everything should fit into. The sooner you can come to terms with that the more effective you will be in life.
