Gossip’s Café

• probably_wrong 5y ago
  I think I accidentally created a 5 minutes lights on/off war. Sorry, everyone! Also: we are almost 1/4 into the 21st century and yet even the digital cafés close at night. Stop trying to get me into bars, it's not happening!

    To open the café paste this into console: document.querySelector('#closed').style.display = "none"; document.querySelector('#fireflies').remove();

  I don't really understand this, but I understand even less why 22 people are sponsoring it on Patreon. Can someone let me in on the secret?
  • modinfo 5y ago
    Because of the light switch.

    I don't know if I get it, the light switch turns nightmode on/off on the side for everyone there?
    • _zzaw 5y ago
      Yeah, I didn’t realize that until I saw other people mention it. Felt kind of guilty, since I’d flicked it a few times thinking it set the mode only for me.

        You can also check the web socket, then you will see that light switch signal is sent to each client.
