- Doctor_Fegg 5y agoIt relates to availability, not copyright. “Not secret” instead of “not copyrighted”. So if you say “the facts are in the public domain” in BrE, that might mean that they’ve been published in a newspaper. It doesn’t mean anything about their copyright status.
- feeela 5y agoStill, in any other sane country on this planet, works in the public domain are to be used however one want's to.
