Looks like quite similar to my own document / task management grammar [1]. I wrote a small library to parse mine, and built many tools on top of it, including editor support, various CLIs for task management, calendar, activity tracking, content consumption, etc. I invested a lot of time into learning Emacs, got into using Org, but Emacs is just too slow, and I got to a point where customizing the tool for what I want was harder than building a custom tool.
